In March 2012 Ms. Manique Gunaratne of The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon, did a presentation on “How to include women with disabilities to the mainstream of development” at a workshop organized by the Disability Organizations’ Joint front and Ministry of Women Affairs at the Sri Lanka Television and training Institute. The Chief guest was the Minster of Women Affairs.
