A consultation on the draft national action plan for rights of persons with disabilities and the discussion on the draft response prepared by the Law & Society Trust for the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities was organised and funded by the Law & Society Trust and was hosted by CEDREP (Centre for Disability Research, Education and Practice) of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Colombo in October 2016. The drafting committee gathered more ideas from persons with disabilities at this meeting so that a complete Action Plan can be done.
