Centre for Women Research (CENWOR) organized a workshop on “Situational Analysis to understand the context of people with disabilities in Sri Lanka” in May 2019. Ms. Manique Gunaratne of The Employers’ Fedeeration of Ceylon conducted the session on “Violence against persons with disabilities”, on Assessing the Current Situation of Persons with Disability in Sri Lanka as a part of a project CENWOR has initiated in three districts in the country. CENWOR is at the initial stage of identifying policy makers, experts and project implementers who will be the essential stakeholders of this project.
