SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT FOR PERSONS WITH
DISABILITIES
Department of Disability Studies in University of Kelaniya conducted a course of study in
Supported Employment for staff members of MAS Holdings in November 2019 at the Ayathi
Centre. Dr. Shyamani Hettiarachchi, Ms. Dilini Walisundara, Ms. Imalka De Silva and Ms.
Manique Gunaratne who qualified as Supported Employment Officers from Northern Ireland
Union of Supported Employment and the European Union of Supported Employment
conducted this training. Ms. Manique Gunaratne conducted the session on “Inclusive
workplace”.
